Hello from Tempe, Arizona!

My name is Sarah, but here I am One Backpack Traveler. Ever since I was young I can remember planning family vacations with slideshows. I was always fascinated with finding the local restaurants and researching what the destination was known for. I would propose different excursions in a presentation months before we were even leaving... I guess I was practicing to be a future executive in the board room, right?

As I have gotten older, I've become even more passionate about travel. I have appreciated the beauty and culture of this world more and more.
I hope these travel guides inspire you to get out there and explore. Go outside your comfort zone. Put yourself out there. Try food you've never heard of. Hike up a summit even if it seems too hard because I promise, the views will be worth it. Get in the car, buy a plane ticket. Travel like a local.
